Christian Essentials Enrichment Class

 of Scottsdale Bible Church

Sundays,  Town Centre (Gym), South Campus, 9:40 AM

Social time 9:15 AM- 9:40 AM with coffee and snacks

This class is currently conducting an in-depth study of the foundational doctrines of our faith.  The format includes application and interaction between teacher and class.  Also, the class emphasizes small group home fellowships, frequent social interaction, and class retreats.

 Bob Cain

Class Leader

As the Christian Essentials class leader, Bob sees one of his roles is to relieve Wayne Grudem of any intrusions into his ability to prepare and teach the class from his vast array of experience and education. Bob's additional focus is to get as many people as possible in the class engaged in building friendships in order to minister to the needs of each other.  Bob has been attending Scottsdale Bible Church for nearly 25 years and is finishing his third term on the Elder Board. While on the Board, he has served as the Treasurer and Secretary. In addition he has been involved in the planning of major improvements such as the renovation of the Worship Center and the re-design and construction of the south parking lot. In May, 2008, Bob transitioned from a career in the real estate business to become a Pastor at SBC. He will head up a new initiative to engage people who are the second half of their adult years in Kingdom work. He expects his work to be like his work with our class, but extended to the entire SBC retired or semi-retired community.
