| Q. What is “Manna”? |
| A. Manna is a meal hosted by volunteers from
the class, typically in their home, for 6 to
14 class members. |
| |
| Q. What do we eat? |
| A. The host(s) determines the menu and the
mealtime. Usually the host provides the main
dish and asks the guests to bring the remaining
dishes. The meal can be casual (pizza, sandwiches,
chili, etc.) or more formal or anything in between.
It is the host’s decision. The primary
thing is to focus on the objective of Manna. |
| |
| Q. What is the objective? |
| A. The objective is to meet and fellowship
with one another. Due to the size of the class,
this is difficult to accomplish on Sundays. |
| |
| Q. How do I participate? |
A. A sign up
sheet is circulated for 2 or 3 Sundays prior
to the Manna date or click the Manna for 8 signup
link on the right side of this page. Class members
who have signed up are assigned to the
volunteer
host(s). The host then contacts those assigned
to let the class member know what they need to
bring, the time of the meal and to give directions
to their home.
